Outrage of the hour is more like it. With some of these people, it goes down to the minute, all day, every day.

Remember, women shouldn’t be allowed to use the pill nor have access to abortion, but should have to pay more for maternity care.

Does the cost of maternity care cost more or less than the estimated $42,570 five-year cost in 2007 to treat prostate cancer?

With their undying love of the fetus, I’d think they’d be proud to pay even more than women just to be on the good side of baby jebus in bringing a new soul into the world (where upon they can immediately ignore it). Why do they hate jesus?

That number seems rather unbelievably low, are you sure you didn’t accidentally skip a digit in that number somewhere after the comma? My Fathers Colon cancer treatments and then the treatment for it having metastasized to his liver over the next seven years cost medicare and the Florida State pension supplemental insurance plan system slightly over $3 million dollars.

re: #9 ausador

I assume the figure was just for a “routine” prostate treatment with no complications and no spread of the cancer to other areas of the body.

Not to mention that cost is probably at least double that now compared to a study done in 2007 (presumably using the data from several years earlier, the source is footnoted to an article that appeared in a medical journal which I don’t have access to).

It’s not a love of the fetus. It’s a hatred of women.

Or rather, it’s them being absolutely outraged that Women don’t feel utterly terrified that a White Christian Straight Man disapproves of what they are doing.

Expect more of this as Theism slowly dies a slow and pathetic death in the world.

Well, I don’t have cancer and haven’t been hit by a car. Why should I pay for that coverage until I personally need it?

Do I really need to add ///

I don’t see why. The people who write to my local paper saying “young people don’t need insurance because they don’t get sick” don’t.

Another Troubled Heart who missed the debate about healthcare in 2010. A pity.
